  • We've been an old time string band for 30 years.

  • A pair of sisters and three pairs of cousins walk into a bar carrying four instruments. Before you are too perplexed by the riddle, however, your toe starts tapping and your heart lifts at the sound of the subtle, smiling music of the Grady Girls. Family ties are important to these women who have traveled far and wide (Cork, Limerick, Spain and beyond) to study and perform the traditional music of Ireland, music that has been an integral part of their lives since day one. Oona (fiddle), Nora (fiddle) and Leah (bodhrán) are all based in Ithaca, their hometown, and are currently drawing further musical inspiration from their old time neighbors, exploring the links between different genres of traditional music. Marie (flute) is making a special trip home from Galway to join in the Grady Girls' efforts to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in style with their favorite Irish dance tunes. The Girls are joined this March by Seph Murtagh (guitar) who also studied music in Cork and Lydia Garrison (vocals) whose beautifully honest voice is complimented by the the group's arrangements.

  • The Zydeco Trail Riders, formed in 2004, have performed predominantly in upstate New York at regional festivals and at nightclubs, wineries and eateries. The band is led by Greg Grodem, on vocals and accordions, with Jim Reidy on guitar, Dave McLallen on bass, Tony Cotraccia on drums, and Sally Freund on rubboard.

  • Toivo is a six piece band from Trumansburg, N.Y. playing Finnish, Tex-Mex, and original music suited to the traditional dances of the Finger Lakes Region - waltzes, schottisches, polkas, mazurkas, two-steps, hambos and reels. The band consists of Richard Koski, button accordion; Jason Koski, mandolin; Stefan Senders, banjo; Jim Reidy, guitar; Harley Campbell, upright bass; and Annie Campbell, snare drum.
